DESCRIPTION
Une colombe se désaltère au bord de l’eau quand, se penchant, une fourmi y tombe. La fourmi essaie de regagner la rive mais est au bord de la noyade. La colombe lui jette une brindille qui permet de sauver la fourmi. Arrivée sur sol dur, elle se sauve. Là-dessus, passe un villageois qui marche pieds nus. Armé d’une arbalète, il s’imagine déjà qu’il en fera son plat. Mais alors qu’il s’apprête à lui tire dessus, la fourmi le pique au talon. En criant, il fait s’enfuir la colombe. Le villageois en pleure de tristesse et la fourmi en rigole.
A dove is drinking at the edge of the water when, leaning, an ant falls. The ant is trying to get back to shore but is on the verge of drowning. The dove throws a twig that helps save the ant. Arriving on hard ground, she runs away. On this, passes a villager who walks barefoot. Armed with a crossbow, he already imagines that he will make his dish. But as he gets ready to shoot the dove, the ant stings him in the heel. Shouting, he makes the dove flee. The villager is crying with sadness and the ant is laughing.
