DESCRIPTION
Récolte des pommes de terre. Labour dans un champ. Enfants attelle un chien à une carriole. Récolte du maïs. Récolte des fruits. Pommes de terre montées dans chariot, ainsi que pommes, oignons, œufs et poulets. Père et le fils partent avec le chariot à cheval pour Québec. Stop à la coopérative agricole de l’île d’Orléans. Stops chez habitants pour livrer poulets, fruits, œufs… Retour à la ferme, chacun s’occupe au son de l’accordéon. Père prépare son tabac, enfant font leurs devoirs, femmes font de la couture et du tissage.
Harvesting potatoes. Plowing in a field. Children harness a dog to a cart. Corn harvesting. Fruit harvesting. Potatoes mounted in carriage, and apples, onions, eggs and chickens. Father and son go with the horse-drawn carriage to Quebec. Stop to the agricultural cooperative on the island of Orleans. Stops to people’s houses to deliver chickens, fruit, eggs … Back at the farm, everyone is occupied with the sound of the accordion. Father prepares his tobacco, children do their homework, women are sewing and weaving.
