Une visite de l’immense studio MGM. En partant de ses portes et en parcourant ses rues, nous suivons le processus de transformation d’un scénario écrit en un film. En cours de route, nous rencontrons des scénaristes, des réalisateurs, d’autres employés de la MGM et, bien sûr, des stars ! Avec des images de Carmel Meyers, Zasu Pitts, Jack Gilbert, Norma Shearer, Claire Windsor, Eleanor Boardman, Conrad Nagel, Paulette Duval, Lew Cody, et de nombreux scénaristes, réalisateurs (dont Howard Hawks ou Cedric Gibbons), acteurs et même Louis B. Mayer et Irving G. Thalberg.
A tour of the sprawling MGM studio. Starting at its gates and traveling its streets we follow the process of transforming a written scenario into a motion picture. Along the way we see some of MGM’s writers, directors, other staff and of course stars! With footage of Carmel Meyers, Zasu Pitts, Jack Gilbert, Norma Shearer, Claire Windsor, Eleanor Boardman, Conrad Nagel, Paulette Duval, Lew Cody, and many writers, directors (including Howard Hawks or Cedric Gibbons), actors and even Louis B. Mayer and Irving G. Thalberg.
